060429-N-1045B-006 Caribbean Sea (April 29, 2006) - Arliegh Burke-class destroyer USS Stout (DDG 55) prepares to join Nimitz-class air craft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) for a joint anti-submarine warfare exercise with George Washington Carrier Strike Group and British Royal Navy Trafalgar-class submarine HMS Trafalger (S107). George Washington Carrier Strike Group is currently participating in Partnership of the Americas, a maritime training and readiness deployment of the U.S. Naval Forces with Caribbean and Latin American countries in support of the U.S. Southern Command's (SOUTHCOM) objectives for enhanced maritime security.
